Lots have happened since our last post. Things have been hectic, to say the least!
Let me start by saying we have put over 16,000 miles on the camper in 2017!!! And I can only see things getting more go-go-go…

Working a job that tells you where to go has it’s benefits…
We were down in Orange City, Florida for 2 weeks while Allen was working on a tower there. They finished up the Tuesday before Memorial Day and we were supposed to head to a job near Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Then the customer in Arkansas decided he didn’t want to be off the air while they worked on his line for his antenna so he was contemplating getting a standby antenna (so he could still broadcast but his signal just wouldn’t be as strong as the main one). So the company told us to sit tight while he decided. All the equipment was on the site in Orange City that they needed in Arkansas so we got a couple days off. Continue reading

We made it to Kansas yesterday! We checked in to All Seasons RV Park (near Wichita) around 2:30pm and got set up. 
Winter Camping Adventures in Minnesota (part 1)
Because I’m almost positive there will be a part 2!
We left our friend Brandi’s house in Sparta, Kentucky last Friday. (After fighting with a frozen camper and a dead slide motor…) And things have not gotten any easier! We stopped at the Iowa 80 Truck Stop for the night. We love that place! We snuck into our secret spot again where we can open the slides and not block any truck parking spots. Then we hit the road first thing Saturday morning and headed up to Saint Paul, Minnesota. Continue reading

We woke up this morning at 6:30 to get ready to head out from Kentucky.

This isn’t Dometic’s fault, so I can’t blame them, as much as I’d like to! It’s also not the fault of Grand Design, or Palm Beach RV… Or us, thankfully! It’s one of those things that just happens, and needs a fix!
