Hi all! I guess now’s a good a time as any to write a blog post and catch you all up on our extended stay in Wichita, Kansas!
I thought we were going to be out of there a couple weeks ago, but they added a little something to the job, so we got almost another two weeks out of it. The weather in Kansas, in the spring, is not super conducive to tall tower work, that’s for sure! So that added a little time to our stay. Continue reading
We’ve been in Kansas for a week now. (At the All Seasons RV Park) After the first day, we asked to switch sites. It’s the first time we’ve ever asked anything like that but the original spot they put us in was super close to our neighbors. We couldn’t walk out of our door without stepping on their welcome mat… 
We made it to Kansas yesterday! We checked in to All Seasons RV Park (near Wichita) around 2:30pm and got set up. 
So for any of you that have been following our blog, you know that we’ve had more than our fair share of issues with our Dometic washer/dryer combo.

Comfort food is helping us survive Minnesota for sure! I’ve been making a lot of soups and warm meals for us lately. I even made a huge crock pot full of vegetable soup for Allen to take to work and share with the guys earlier this week.

Because I’m almost positive there will be a part 2!
We left our friend Brandi’s house in Sparta, Kentucky last Friday. (After fighting with a frozen camper and a dead slide motor…) And things have not gotten any easier! We stopped at the Iowa 80 Truck Stop for the night. We love that place! We snuck into our secret spot again where we can open the slides and not block any truck parking spots. Then we hit the road first thing Saturday morning and headed up to Saint Paul, Minnesota. Continue reading
We woke up this morning at 6:30 to get ready to head out from Kentucky. 
This isn’t Dometic’s fault, so I can’t blame them, as much as I’d like to! It’s also not the fault of Grand Design, or Palm Beach RV… Or us, thankfully! It’s one of those things that just happens, and needs a fix!
