We had the impression that this campground would be a lot nicer than it was. They only had a spot available for one night but when we checked in they did try and find something for an extra night for us with no luck. We had a back in spot on the creek that comes in from the ocean. There was a straight drop off behind us with no fence or anything so I’d be a little nervous about bringing kids. Our spot was only 30amp and really tight and difficult to get into, but of course Allen pulled it off! We had a fire ring and a picnic table, along with a little shade tree. There’s a trail that goes down to the beach so we took Charlie down. She loved it until the wind kicked up and she got sand in her little puppy eyes. We had a couple of beers and some food across the street at a little bar and grill with a view of the creek. Other than that, there isn’t much to do in the immediate area.
This isn’t a bad park, but for $52.68, I expected more. I probably wouldn’t stay here again, especially with the size of our camper…
