We stayed here for 3 weeks in December 2016 while Allen was working at the shop in Chandler. We paid $130/week for a 50amp FHU pull through site. There was room to park the truck and the site was plenty long enough. The sites are gravel and the roads are most paved with some gravel. There is a section with only water and electric as well as the section with FHU. Electric is included, which is a plus. There is no camp host or attendant during the off season (October – April). Payment is made into a drop box on the honor system. The daily rate is $22. (We are going into our third week as I write this and they still haven’t cashed any of our checks.) There is a playground for kids and bathrooms that stay open all year. There is also a shelter and some grills scattered throughout the park. There is plenty of primitive camping available also and all the sites have picnic tables and fire rings. The park is fairly full right now with only a handful of FHU sites left. It seems to be mostly full time workers (working on a power plant I believe). But they leave the water on and the first week we were here they went around and put buckets over all of the spigots to help protect them from freezing, but they aren’t heated or insulated, and it’s COLD! The campground is situated on a lake with a boat ramp at the end. During the season you can rent fishing boats to go out on the lake.
