This was a great place to stay.

The roads are paved. The sites are big with concrete pads. It’s right off I-35, super easy access. They have pull through sites for overnight in the front. There is a laundry room with about 20 machines that are pretty inexpensive and they give quarters at the office.

There’s an ihop across the street that was always yummy. A Waffle House next door. Charley’s Restaurant (next to ihop) delivers pizza -it’s delicious if the husband is cooking that day. There’s also a Cracker Barrel right there but we always got cold food and subpar service. Oh, and let’s not forget Sonic! You know Allen loves his Sonic Blasts!

We got here in October and stayed until the end of February. We had 90+degree weather and below freezing weather. They insulate the water spickets in the winter to help with freezing. And they spray stuff on the ground to get rid of the sticky burrs (Charlie appreciated that!)

The owners, Karen and Bob, are super friendly and nice. We still chat on the phone and I’m really hoping we can get back there in the future.screen-shot-2016-12-14-at-10-53-19-am

**Edit** We have since stayed here a few more times, sometimes for a night or two, and sometimes longer (months). We stop whenever we can.

We went to lunch with Karen and Bob when my mom came to visit in April 2016.
